William Daryl "Willie" Colebank was born November 9, 1905
in Colebank, West Virginia to Jesse and Mary Lohr
Colebank.. He married Buelah Agnes Barber(born April 28,
1915), daughter of Ward Barber and Strauda (Straudie) E.
Sigley, on August 14, 1930. William and Buelah had five
children: Melvin Daniel Colebank, Rachel Virginia Colebank,
John Paul Colebank, Robert Lawrence Colebank, and
Almeda Patricia Colebank (January 17,1941- January 17,
1997). Willie and Buelah lived in Grafton, West Virginia
where Willie worked at the Atlas - Hazel Glass Company.
Willie was a Methodist. Willie and Buelah's oldest son
Melvin Daniel was born on July 17, 1935 and lived only three
months. He died of pneumonia on October 13, 1935. Son
Louis Edward was born June 26, 1938 and died of diarrhea
on September 5, 1938. Buelah contracted lobar pneumonia
and died of heart failure on February 15, 1942 at only 26
years of age, leaving oldest daughter Rachel to care for the
children. Willie died July 17, 1980. Both Willie and Buelah
are buried in Mt. Israel Cemetery near Fellowsville, West
Virginia.
