Jessie Forest Colebank was born March 8, 1908 in
Colebank, West Virginia to parents Daniel Olena Colebank
and Almeda Bowman Colebank. He never married. His
nephew (Decota's son) Danny Moore remembers that
Jessie always slept on the open front porch of the home,
winter and summer, regardless of the weather. At the time
of his death on April 26,1973 he was farming at RFD 1,
Tunnelton, West Virginia. He was a Methodist. He is buried
in Mt. Israel Cemetery, Fellowsville, West Virginia.
