                         SARAH (TILLIE) COLEBANK SHROYER

Sarah (Tillie) Colebank was born June 25, 1815 in Monongalia County, West Virginia. She married
John Shroyer or Schroyer, born July 16, 1815 or 1812, in Greensboro, Virginia, on April 13, 1837.  In
1850, the Federal Census showed that the family was living in Nicholson, Fayette County,
Pennsylvania. In 1870 John and Sarah were living in Springhill, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Sarah
died June 3,1909 in Port Marion, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Sarah is buried in Eden United
Methodist Church Cemetery. Her headstone is inscribed with: "Aged 93 y 11 m 8 d".
Some members of the Shroyer family kept the original spelling of Schroyer.

Artlissa (Arte) L. Shroyer -- born in 1838.

Frances Shroyer -- born September 16, 1839 in New Geneva, Fayette County, PA.

John D. Shroyer -- born in 1842.

James A. Shroyer -- born in 1844

Mary Shroyer -- born in 1848.

Elizabeth Shroyer -- born December 6, 1848. She never married. She died December 1, 1925.

William Shroyer -- born July 4, 1853. He married a Melissa J., born June 26, 1852. William died
February 19, 1922 and Melissa died August 13, 1926.

David Marshall Shroyer -- born May 1,1855. He married a woman named Hannah Matilda, born
August 20, 1861. David died May 6, 1935 and Hannah May 24, 1934.

Olivia Shroyer -- born in 1859.
